Figured I should like...update this thing! I'm gonna be there wandering the halls on Sat/Sun...AS A SITH! I've never been, and had very little time to prepare a costume but honestly...why go to a convention if you're not going to dress up !? My best friend is going to be my TWIN and it will be AWESOME!!! I will...probably have more facepaint and crazy hair eventually .


Had a lot of fun making the costume...it was surprisingly easy!

I'm super excited to announce that Bastion has just been released for PC Digital Download on Steam!

To thank you guys for your unwavering support, I have five copies of the game to give away! All you need to do is leave a comment with the word "SCUMBAG" used in a sentence (I just need to know you're human ;D), and your name will be entered into a random drawing. You have 24-hours to do this (until 12:30PM PDT on 8/17), so get your comment-on! Thanks once more to all of you for your wonderful support - for those of you who aren't sure what Bastion is, in a nutshell: it's a painterly Action RPG with a lot of heart. Supergiant Games is composed of six talented members hoping to create games which remind us of the ones we played as children . I served as the sole 2D artist so a lot of my lack of DA updates over the last year or so can be attributed to this project! I put a lot of myself into creating this game, so if you enjoy my work, perhaps you can take some time to give the demo (XBLA, or PC/Steam) a go ! Hey guys, sorry I have been more absent than usual lately (I know, it's amazing how I can actually get WORSE at this!).

My company/team Supergiant Games is neck deep in finalizing Bastion ([link]) for a tentative Summer release! I just wanted to drop a note to let you guys know we will be in the Indie Game Festival at GDC (which is going on this week), and you should definitely stop by and play our game/chat with us if you'll be there and could spare the time!

We were nominated as finalists for Excellence in Art and Excellence in Audio for the IGF, so hopefully we'll snag at least one of those if we deserve it ! The Indie Game pavilion opens Wednesday, I believe, so see you dudes there!

I plan on thanking Dragonball Z, Altered Beast, and the art in the Warcraft 2 manual, if I win Excellence in Art >!

I know it's a relatively small thing, but for my company (Supergiant Games [link]) and me, it's pretty exciting! Some news about the game we're working on, "Bastion," along with a big screenshot (not my most favorite art there, but oh well XD) are on page 38 and 1/5th of 39!!!!!1one Anyway, it's exciting to see our stuff in GI, even though it's just a small paragraph about us ! Hey lovely artists! As some of you may know, after three great years working as an artist at Gaia Online, I have finally moved on to continue pursuit of my Video-Game-Development dreams!

I have been at Supergiant Games - a startup consisting of a couple ex-EALA guys - for about a month now, and after a week of crazy crunch, we submitted our game demo to the PAX10, a Penny Arcade Indie-Game competition. We ended up being selected as one of the ten winners (!!!!! WE BE WINNARS !!!!!), so we will be at PAX showing off our CREATION this year! And you should totally stop by and say hello at our booth which I will likely be manning...a lot of the time XD. Thankfully I am also a Seattle Native, so I'm way excited .

If you're curious, our game is now officially announced and is called "Bastion" - I'll keep you guys updated, but you can also check out new art and stuff at www.supergiantgames.com ! I know I'm years behind the times, but I started reading Bleach...

And by started, I mean I read 1-305 in about... two days or so. The day after that I ran to the fabric store and started an Arrankar Halibel cosplay >_>;. Do I have the breast size or skin tone for it? No, not at all, but that's not going to stop me!!! The Hakama is more or less complete... thankfully I've folded hakama for Iaido/Kendo just about eleventy-billion times, so I had great reference going into it .

I remember watching the first episode of the anime two years ago and thinking it was boring as heck! I'm glad I gave the manga a go... I would give an explanation as to why I enjoy it, but I'm quite certain 99% of those who read this have been following the series for far, far longer than a noobling such as I XD. I'm thinking... you should possibly expect fan art.

Hopefully I'll get to attend Fanime '08 with the rest of the Gaia people!  Dressing as....
1. Bleach - Espada, Halibel.
2. D. Grayman - Custom Rinalee (hopefully... I haven't started this one yet) ... I honestly think her outfit is a little boring compared to Allen, Kanda and Rabi's.
3. BATGIRL - Cassandra Cain!!!! Is it against the rules to wear Americomic costumes to Anime conventions? .
4. If Batgirl isn't allowed into Fanime, then maybe Kagura from Gintama! Seems like an easy cosplay and I just *love* the character :d.

I didn't get to make out with anyone this year when the clock struck 12pm. Okay well... I've never made out with anyone on New Years!
