Uninteresting cosplay blather!

!I know I'm years behind the times, but I started reading Bleach...
And by started, I mean I read 1-305 in about... two days or so. The day after that I ran to the fabric store and started an Arrankar Halibel cosplay >_>;. Do I have the breast size or skin tone for it? No, not at all, but that's not going to stop me!!! The Hakama is more or less complete... thankfully I've folded hakama for Iaido/Kendo just about eleventy-billion times, so I had great reference going into it
. I remember watching the first episode of the anime two years ago and thinking it was boring as heck! I'm glad I gave the manga a go... I would give an explanation as to why I enjoy it, but I'm quite certain 99% of those who read this have been following the series for far, far longer than a noobling such as I XD. I'm thinking... you should possibly expect fan art.
Hopefully I'll get to attend Fanime '08 with the rest of the Gaia people! Dressing as....
1. Bleach - Espada, Halibel.
2. D. Grayman - Custom Rinalee (hopefully... I haven't started this one yet) ... I honestly think her outfit is a little boring compared to Allen, Kanda and Rabi's.
3. BATGIRL - Cassandra Cain!!!! Is it against the rules to wear Americomic costumes to Anime conventions?
.4. If Batgirl isn't allowed into Fanime, then maybe Kagura from Gintama! Seems like an easy cosplay and I just *love* the character :d.
It's literally been four years since I've cosplayed. I completely blame my cubicle-neighbor, [link] .
Who will be attending Fanime '08? (Or for that matter, Wondercon '08)
Will you be wearing Bleach, DGM, or *gasp* BATMAN!?

I really am hoping I'll have time [and the money] to attend Fanime. I've only thought of one thing to cosplay as and it'd be Kuramori from Haibane Renmei. I still have yet to watch all of it though...curse me. D:
Maybe I'll do that tomorrow...
I also agree that I found the anime episodes quite boring in the beginning, and dropped off watching it before episode 30 came out... though I think I am just biased because I read the manga first, and the animation was quite choppy after the impressive opening song
Anyway, ending my own Bleach rambles-- have fun cosplaying, it seems incredibly fun! I've only done it once, but that was before I ever started doing AA (and to top off the Bleach coincidence, it was a shinigami outfit from the series ! )
And ... does that mean you're going to Fanime 08? I'm very excited! I hope to see you there (=
