"Hope" Progression by JenZee "Hope" Progression by JenZee
By request then, this is me trying to describe how I draw typically >_>. Honestly this is probably super boring to 99% of the DA population, but um... Here you go anyway :). Sorry for spamming everyone else with it T_T. If you guys have any other specific questions, please do ask/comment!

Anyway, while painting this one there were long periods of time that I forgot I was doing a progression piece, so apologies for some missing phases ._. They're...mostly there though^^.

Here's the final, full sized image for people who havn't seen it :)

You are inspiring!
For some reason, it reminds me of the part in the last Lord of The Rings when the people in that big white castle are giving their warriors white flowers. x3

Amazingly helpful, simple ideas like the colour dots are great.

Actually I do stop on the face a loooot of time too, and adding stuff over and over, so I can understand you so well ahaha :D
By the way, I think it's great! I always love this kind of deviations, it's really useful :aww: So thanks so much for this!

It's very good to see the progress. It'll be really useful for me! :3
Thanks a lot!
Wow...I am so in awe. I know I'm a total noob when it comes to drawing or sketching anything(I am so totally not an artist xD), and I'm amazed that you did this sort of thing on the computer. Oh my gawsh!! O_O'!
So yeah.....I love this by the way, X), just in case I didn't make that clear earlier. I love these kinds of pieces, and it was so fun reading your commentary and seeing your steps. I also found it a little helpful as I'm trying to learn to draw...something..
anyways...oh, and I think it would have been interesting with the dirty face, but I love where you ended up with it, the face fit so nicely with the flower :D

Great step-by stpe.

Thanks for share it with us.

Best wishes.
I'm trying to get into new coloring styles. How long does it take you do actually do this? And when you first started doing it this way,did you go through allot of pictures you disliked before you got comfortable with it?
