I'm not a photographer. I SUCK at photography^^, my brother, can attest to that . All the same, I do like taking pictures of things that please me (or things I can later use for blackmail >_>... A *huge* part of my inspiration comes from nature... I can't explain how much the beauty of nature affects me, since I also, happen to suck at writing . Suffice to say, without it I'd be artless.
As such, I felt the need to share the wonderful skies of Washington State, Seattle with you all. More of a tribute than what I consider a piece of art . I use a Sony DSCP-32, which doesn't do the skies justice, but gives you a pretty good idea of what they're like. There is never a dull moment in the skies of Washingon, I say~! Absolutely no post-processing on any of these pictures, besides cropping and sizing. I wish I could've included more, but it's huge as it is hehehe....
Please go check out my brother's gallery... He has some wonderful images of the sky as well (among other wonderful images), and has a camera that's good enough to capture them prefectly .
Anyway....sorry if this is spam to a lot of people watching me for paintings T_T. Next upload will be the soldier person thingie!!!!
The second-to-last photo is stunning. Where is that exactly? It looks like the sky is reflecting off a pool of still water, but there's a stone border...
*sigh* I wished I lived where you do, great place to view the skies (too many tall trees here)
Great source of inspiration indeed I never really thought that nature played a role in your artworks but it's not surprising either. This a great tribute to it and frankly, I thnik you take the best photos of the skies far better than my lecturer who teaches photography
Too kind heheeh Tall trees are nice too!!! Those might serve as some sort of inspiration But then again, I have no idea what the trees in your part of Malaysia look like ^^. Soooo ehehhe... But anyway, it's not hard to make a picture of the sky look good Taking a photo of something that's already beautiful doesn't require skill hehehe Thanks for your support all the same!
Great source of inspiration indeed
