This isn't REALLY fanart from "The Hunger Games"... It doesn't match the description really, though there are some definite similarities. Just he same, I was quite inspired by the books and I imagine more than anything, the tone is what I was going for, rather than a verbatim depiction of the character :).

Beautiful piece. She deserves a name that doesn't ring so relevantly with popular culture, but I think Katniss suits her.

This is by far the most interesting interpretation of Katniss that I've ever seen: much more interesting than the image I had in mind. Love it.
