So like.... I'm obsessed. Have been for nearly a year, and am still going strong ~_~. I know I have that Wildling piece in progress, but I totally got distracted (as always) by what I like to call "THE HOTNESS" aka Itachi :D. Of Naruto fame, Itachi is just so freaking drawable, so hawt. Anyway... I know he looks old in this, but doesn't he always ~_~? Just drawing him w/ Anbu squad in tow (though secretly, I really just drew the girl in since she's ME!!!!! Oh, here's my Sakuracon cosplay of her >_> [link] I look mean ._. HAR HAR HAR... Well I guess it's not so secret anymore >_>;) killing things. He's about to flick the blood off his blade in this and stuffs... Had fun with the lighting :boogie: . Hope you all like it! Crits/comments are always appreciated :)!

Technical Stuff:
I got this finished quicker than I thought I would. Also was trying to keep the brush work more loose... About 14 hours, seven a day. Painter 7.0, no reference. Original size 1985x3263.

Whoa, very nice. I love the whole Anbu look (possibly, aka definitly my favorite character design EVER). Itachi, even though he's a bad, bad man, is still a badass. Scary guy. O.O (Not as scary as toddler Gaara exploding his little playmates, though). Anywho, ART! It's amazing. I love it. The Anbu...so...badass! *rambles ane eventually shuts up about how cool Anbu is*

Oh. My. Lord. This is absolutely gorgeous work. The posing and the shadows, and the lingering murkiness of ANBU slitting throats in the dark~ Itachi and the BODY, and oh my guh, his EYES.

...So much envy of teh_art_skillz here. *paws at the picture* A definate :+favlove:!

Awsome-ness. As usual, you pull out something completely amazing enough to make me pee my pants. Though I hate to be the wet blanket in this situation, I would have really liked to see a little more detail or definition in the mask. I don't know, maybe alittle more bold or something like that. Anyways, that's just me.

MOOF! Itachi looks so girly here because of his insanely long gorgeous eyelashes! He's so pretteh! It's not fair! XD!!

In the manga/anime, anbu girl's hair is mucho longer. ^-^ But since you were drawing yourself and your own hair is that length, it works out fine :3! Ohhhh :heart: that's some purtty good cosplay! That anbu tattoo thing is just perfect. And esp. your lips in the first photo look so sexy like the nameless anbu chick XD You are so pretteh! Can't see too well in the photo, but did you put red eyeshadow on? And your hair is pretteh too. :3 I want your katana. XD oohh ohh! Next time put on dark red lipstick! Serious! XD

like the blood dripping off his blade.
the way this pic is mades is awsome, i really liked the type of colors u used so....smudgy i dunno.

Very good, i like his pose very much, and the detail of the spilled blood in his shoulder is cool as hell.

I've just started reading Naruto, (a friend of mine precisely lent the first two tomes yesterday) so I can't compare the character with the original for "lookalikeness" :D

His expression looks a little strange to me, but I think it's due to the facial tatoos, so it doesn't mind, and I know he's just worm meal now, but I think the corpse could have been a bit more defined.

Overall, a cool piece, with great ambient
