CV: Symphony of the Night's Alucard :) Dracula's son, half Vampire, and my fav. character ever :). He's always such a challenge to draw for me, since he comes complete with this badarse but oh so cool aura of spiff! This is the best rendition of him I've produced so far....:) Painter 7.0, no reference used.

I am normally not a lover of fan art, but Castlevania: Alucard by ~JenZee totally blew me away when I stumbled across it. It's a beautiful rendition of an already wonderfully designed character, all done in a style that's well worth taking a closer look at. ( Featured by `silentkitty )

I have to agree...the technique and colors used are great for the clothing, pose, background, even the hair...but the face still needs work. I've always pictured him with very angular/sharp features that would make him look fairly 'dangerous' with nearly any expression on his face except the softest ones. Maybe more pronounced cheek bones and a stronger jaw would help?

....then again, I'm terrible at drawing in general sooooooooo this is just an attempt to help with commentary/observation. :P Either way, you're -definitely- on the right track here! (Y) Keep it up!
