//Edit 2: LOL our group got served during the presentation. Oh well... we still think it'd be a good idea :D. We're thinking about writing up a written proposal just for the fun of it. Just think BF42 + UT + AVP2 + Shadowbane :D.

The top two took about an hour/hour and a half. I've never done environmentals at all before, so this was a huge learning experience. Trial by fire really. You can tell I learned a lot between the first and second painting (the predator one was done first, the alien one second) haha.

These were done for a school project. Our group is designing an Alien versus Predator MMORPG/MMOFPS. I mean I can't believe this hasn't actually been done before. I should put up our entire pitch sometime, for others who are huge fans of the old AVP games :D. I promise you guys would like it (though the game pro's didn't!!!!) !!! But yeah. This is of course, nothing official.

I had about a day to come up with this stuff, so nothing excessively awesome I think. I also am such a environmental/background-design noob. I've always avoided it, knowing that I'd have to do it sooner or later to be a concept artist, so it's nice that I kind of got forced into it. Now I'm burgeoning with ideas!

Very cool! Are you still at UW like me ?_? That is one heck of a sweet project. Anywho great work on it, environments are hard.

Ooh, ooh, I'm a fan of aliens and predators and several aliens vs predators games though I think the movie is a huge disappointment! i would love to play an MMOG based on AVP. "Class: Human, Aliens, Predators" "Job: Seeker, Worker, Warrior, Hunter" dude, that's just awesome!

I LOVE the background on the top one. It looks awesome. Geez, your stuff humbles me to no end.
